Each year the Barn Team, along with several local churches, hosts four community-wide events.
Good Friday Service (April)
Three days prior to celebrating Easter, Christians all over the world commemorate the day that Jesus suffered and died on the cross for our sins.
This Good Friday service includes live worship music, a brief teaching, and prayer for those who might need a miracle in their life, or simply desire to know God better.
Damascus 3-on-3 (July)
Nothing brings our community together like sports. And true to form, the Damascus 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament has quickly become a popular summer tradition in our town.
This family-friendly event offers free hot dogs and snacks, as well as some entertaining half-court basketball and other fun activities for children and adults of all ages. https://damascus3on3.com/
Fun on the Farm (September)
90 plus acres of rolling farmland in the heart of Damascus is the setting for our annual “Fun on the Farm” event. Come and enjoy hay rides, a petting zoo, face painting and other family activities
– including free food!! What better way to welcome in the harvest season than a fun day on a family farm in the middle of Damascus!
Christmas Caroling (December)
While Jimmie Cone is the social center of our town during the summer months, every December the owners of Jimmie Cone allow us to host a Christmas Caroling event in their parking lot.
There’s nothing quite like greeting old friends and making new ones – while enjoying cookies, hot chocolate, and live music under a winter night’s stars.
