The Lord is gathering and unifying the churches of Damascus!
There are currently six local churches that gather together for fellowship, worship and prayer – including a monthly corporate prayer meeting hosted by one of our local churches and led by a pastor. We believe our time together has been the key to “rebuilding the wall” in our community – as we look to establish unity in the local churches of Damascus. .
If you are a pastor or leader in a local church, we invite you to join us for one of our monthly fellowship, prayer and planning meetings held at The Barn. We believe your church is another critical “stone in the wall” as we see church unity grow in Damascus.

What Unites Us
WHEREAS, The Damascus churches are comprised of a multitude of churches with diverse memberships representing an array of denominations.
WHEREAS, We are, “eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” – Ephesians 4:3–6
WHEREAS, we are united in the authority of scripture as the only infallible rule on faith and practice, the triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
WHEREAS, we are united in the love of God displayed through the church. (John 13:35)
The Cause
WHEREAS, The witness of the church has been clouded by sin, hidden because of fear, and hindered by apathy.
WHEREAS, The disunity in the church has brought disgrace to the name of Jesus who is the head.
WHEREAS, Our community is in desperate need and without hope apart from God. (Ephesians 2:12, Romans 10:9-14)
WHEREAS, Division, hate, and violence, is increasing in our community and across our nation.
Our Resolution
WE RESOLVE TO, Unite together in prayer for the glory of God, unity of the church, and healing in our community.
WE RESOLVE TO, Unite together to proclaim the truth of God’s word.
WE RESOLVE TO, Unite together in confession of sins, individual and corporate. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
WE RESOLVE TO, Unite together to glorify God and exalt the name of Jesus above all names. (Philippians 2:9-10)
WE RESOLVE TO, Unite together in efforts to proclaim the Gospel to everyone in our community for the salvation of all who believe. (Romans 1:16)
